Disney’s ‘Tangled’ Teaser Trailer

Check out the teaser trailer from Disney’s 50th animated feature, Tangled, an adaptation of the Rapunzel fairy tale.
On November 24th, Disney Animation will release its 50th animated feature, Tangled. The film is a loose adaptation of the famous Rapunzel fairy tale. The animated film features the voices of Mandy Moore as Rapunzel and Chuck’s Zachary Levi as Flynn Rider.
The tale, originally written by the Brothers Grimm, has been slightly tweaked by Disney. The new version follows a bandit (Levi) who stumbles upon a tower housing the beautiful Rapunzel (Moore). The two embark on a romantic action-comedy adventure across a mysterious landscape full of ridiculous creatures and deadly turns.
Co-directed by Byron Howard (Bolt) and Nathan Greno, the Tangled is a milestone for one of the pioneers in animation. While the best work from Disney shines through their relationship with Pixar, this film should still capture the wonder of a truly beloved fairy tale.
The teaser trailer only reveals the plot, but also gives a taste of the voice work from Moore and Levi. They sound a bit distant in age, but it may play nicely given the story. Moore is famous for her singing voice, but the musical segments will give us a first listen at Levi’s vocal talents.

Betty White, Marc Cherry, Mandy Moore and More Thank Rue McClanahan for Being a Friend

TV icon Rue McClanahan sadly succumbed to a massive stroke this morning, but she leaves in her wake laughs, love and a legacy most actors can only dream of.
“Rue was a close and dear friend,” sole surviving Golden Girl Betty White said in a statement today.
“I treasured our relationship. It hurts more than I ever thought it would, if that’s even possible.”
McClanahan’s Sordid Lives costar Jason Dottley set up an official Facebook memorial page for the actress this morning “at the request of Rue McClanahan’s family.”
“Rest in peace my dear dear Rue :( ” he tweeted.
Marc Cherry, the Desperate Housewives creator who launched his career in the Golden Girls writers room, also released a statement on McClanahan’s death.
“When I worked on The Golden Girls, my favorite character to write for was Blanche Devereaux,” he said. “In the hands of lesser actresses, Blanche’s vanity and sexual appetite would have been off-putting. But in Rue’s brilliant hands, that character became one of the most beloved in the history of TV.
“Rue’s kindness, generosity and enormous talent will be sorely missed.”
But they weren’t the only stars paying public tribute to McClanahan.

• Mandy Moore: “RIP rue mcclanahan. sending love and prayers to her loved ones…..”
